The Wishing Well is a open minded shared studio and gallery space focused on stimulating the Emerging Arts community in qathet (Powell River and beyond), focused on the synthesis of music, visual arts, crafting, writing, and the Creative Economy.

Located in the Historic Townsite (Tiskwat) area, for 4 years we have provided a safe yet exciting environment for artists of all types to come together and create, dance, sing, enjoy and grow together. Our members enjoy 24/7 access to create using their own or shared equipment. Together we put on Group and Solo Art Exhibitions, Live Music Performances, Workshops, Dance Events, Private Events, Potlucks and Movie Nights, Art Jams, Open Mic's... The list goes on. Anything you can imagine utilizing the space for, we can make it happen. Always looking for more artists to play with and sponsors to connect with, feel free to reach out.

In today's day and age the need for 3rd spaces is so dire, that most don't even know they crave them. A third space is a community space where you don't live, and aren't required to indulge in capitalism to exist in it.
